Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cynthia Reyes conducted an unannounced case management licensee initiated inspection to inspect the preschool facility for decrease in capacity determination. Licensee is requesting to decrease the capacity of their existing preschool license from a capacity of 114 to 84.

Due to COVID- 19 precautionary measures were taken. Licensing staff met with Site Director, Amanda Sanchez. There is also an Infant program (198003091) that is adding one of the preschool class rooms (Old Discovery room) for the increase of the infant program. There are no shared areas between the infant and preschool program. The facility hours of operation are Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 6 PM. Parents enter the facility through the front of the school lobby area.

LPA was provided a tour of the facility’s existing two licensed classrooms, preschool/pre-k and the removal classroom (Discovery Room, being added to the infant program). LPA inspected all the rooms and observed a bathroom in Pre-K with 4 toilets (Cap 60) and 3 sinks (Cap 45) and in the class room, 2 more sink (Cap 30). Their is also a bathroom in the Preschool room (Name to change to Discovery), with 3 toilets (Cap 45) and 2 sinks (Cap 30) and in the class room, 2 more sink (Cap 30).

There are age appropriate furniture and toys that were observed to be clean and safe. During this inspection, LPA observed cots for napping.
