Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Crystal Green and Enjoli Maeweather conducted an unannounced Case Management- Licensee Initiated inspection. Licensing staff met Site Director, Laura Navarette, who provided a tour of the facility. The licensee requests to add a new classroom to the existing license areas. This facility is located on the premises of Palm Crest Elementary School. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.

This facility is currently licensed to operate out of 2 classrooms (Classroom 29 and CEC Daycare Room). Licensee is requesting to add classroom 201 to the licensed areas. At 2:05pm, Licensing staff observed classroom 201 to be currently in use by students for music class. Per Director, classroom 201 will not be utilize by the School-Age program until after 3pm. Licensing staff observed the classroom to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. Furniture and equipment were inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. The children in the school-age program will have access to the restroom located in the building adjacent to CEC daycare classroom and will always be escorted by a staff member. Regional Office received an approved Fire Clearance. The capacity will remain the same at this time. No deficiencies are being cited at this time.
