25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Roxana Lopez conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee, Ebtisam Metri, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Per Licensee, there are 10 children currently enrolled. There were 8 children, 2 being infants and 3 adults present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, day care room, detached garage, front yard, and backyard which is fenced.
Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, detached garage, and front yard. The children have access to day care room, one bathroom, one bedroom, kitchen and backyard which is fenced.
During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster, and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist were observed to be posted in the backyard, as parents come in through the back. A current children’s roster was available for review.
