25 | On 11/07/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted. Upon arrival LPA Long was greeted by licensee, Misook Rhee. LPA observed 2 Caregivers and 7 children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
This is a single-story house which contains a living room, dining area, family room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an attached garage.
The day care takes place in the living room, dining area, family room, hallway bathroom and rear yard.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephones. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms or pets on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 05/2025. Outdoor play areas are fenced. Cots were observed for children nap. Lunch, snacks and dinner is provided. Sleep check documentation was observed for 2 infants. Preferred language is Korean.
LPA reviewed children files; files were found to be complete. LPA reviewed staff files; files were found to be complete. Children and staff names were documented on LIC811 (confidential page).
