On 07/30/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced case management inspection. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Christine Garcia, Preschool Site Supervisor and explained the purpose of the visit. There are 40 Children enrolled. 6 Staff and 25 Children are present in 2 different classrooms during today's visit.

The purpose of the visit is to follow up on an incident reported to the department on 05/24/2024. The self reported incident is regarding personal rights.

During today's visit, LPA interviewed Staff #6 (S6) and Child #2 (C2) and Child #3 (C3).

Based on interviews with S1 to S6, C2 to C3 and review of Sheriff's investigation report, there were no corroborating information to determine that a personal rights violation occurred. LPA informed the Preschool Site Supervisor that no further action is needed regarding the unusual incident report that was reported on 5/24/24 and followed up on during a Case Management visit dated 5/29/24. Further review did not find that a violation occur.

An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report and appeal rights was provided to the Preschool Site Supervisor. A Notice of Site Visit was also provided and must be posted for 30 days.
