Tour began in the living room/dining room where LPA observed furniture, dining table, (2) play pens, cots, materials for children, and feeding chairs. Adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen. Per licensee, the kitchen is off-limits. Licensee has placed child proof locks to make the kitchen cabinets inaccessible. The play pens are free from loose articles and objects. There are no objects hanging above or attached to the side of the play pens. Play pens do not hinder the entrance or exit to and from the space they are sleeping in. Licensee has a barricaded fireplace in the den. Down the hallway from the dining room is the children’s bathroom and den. LPA observed that the children’s bathroom is in safe and in sanitary conditions. LPA then toured the den where LPA observed children’s equipment, materials, and age-appropriate toys. There’s also a first aid kit readily available.
