25 | On May 26, 2026, at 11:40a.m., Licensing Program Analysts (LPA’s) Keneisha Dunlap and Javier Duran arrived at the above facility for the purpose of an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Licensee- Yolanda Stowe. There are 8 children enrolled, and 6 children present, and 3 staff present at the time of inspection. This is a preschool program, and the center hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7:00am-6:00pm.
LPA's observed all posting requirements for operation on the licensing board LIC 203A-License, LIC 610, PUB 393, PUB 269, LIC613A, LIC 9148, Activity Schedule, menu, and completion testing and remediated lead exceedances.
Documentation of current Fire & Earthquake drill was observed with last drill conducted on April 28, 2026.
Fire extinguisher(s) observed with a service tag date of 3/3/26.
At 12:20p.m. The Licensee was requested to demonstrate that the smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector was operable. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector was not operable. The Licensee put batteries inside during the inspection, and it worked. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. Technical Violation will be issued.
LPA’s inspected Classroom 1-the classroom was equipped with age-appropriate furniture and learning materials. Classrooms has carpeted area, TV, library area, soft furnishings, cubby storage, dramatic play area, age-appropriate toys, manipulative items, and arts & crafts area. The First Aid supplies were inventoried in classroom. All cleaning supplies and/or hazardous materials stored in cabinets and drawers with safety latches. LPA’s observed classroom, equipment, and materials to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Page 1 of 4
