On 11/21/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva conducted a subsequent complaint inspection to conclude the investigation regarding the above complaint allegation. LPA met with assistant director Brenda Garcia, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 21 children and two staff present during this inspection.

Complainant alleged staff are not providing adequate supervision to day care child(ren) in care. During the course of this investigation, LPA obtained a copy of the facility roster, personnel report, and reviewed electronic device that tracks attendance. Interviews were also conducted with the reporting party, three daycare children, three staff, assistant director and parents. There were no disclosures made during interviews to corroborate the alleged allegations.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. The evidence to prove something happened is equal to and has just as much convincing weight that it did not happen therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview conducted with Brenda Garcia. Appeal Rights provided.
