25 | *LPA Dunlap offered Interpreter Services; the Licensee declined.
On June 25, 2025, at 9:20 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap conducted an unannounced annual inspection of the facility. Licensee- Betty Amaya granted entry after LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of visit. At the time of inspection, 14 children were enrolled, with 6 children present. The facility Monday- Friday from 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM. All adults in the home were discussed and background and fingerprinted cleared.
The License, Earthquake Disaster Checklist (LIC9148), Disaster Plan (LIC610A), and PUB 394 (Parent's Rights) were all observed to be posted. The Licensee maintains a current LIC 9040 (facility roster). The most recent disaster drill was conducted on March 3, 2025, and documented in the disaster drill log.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, 3 living rooms, a detached garage, fenced front yard, and backyard. The off limit areas include 1 bedroom, kitchen, detached garage, and backyard.
Living Room 1 (Main Care Area): This area has tile floors with area rugs, mounted TV, two couches, a playpen, and age-appropriate toys. Nap time is provided in this area. LPA Dunlap observed all furnishings, equipment, and materials were in good condition.
Living Room 2: This area has tile floors, two mounted TV’s, a couch, fours playpens, music & movement, manipulative items, arts & crafts materials, and age-appropriate toys. There is a half door that separates Living Room 1 from Living Room 2. LPA Dunlap observed all furnishings, equipment, and materials were in good condition. Page 1 of 5
