25 | On May 17, 2024,Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala and Priscilla Ochoa conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala and Ochoa was greeted by Licensee's, Martha and Nidia Sanguino. LPAs observed 1 preschool aged child in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
This is a single-story duplex which consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, half-kitchen, full kitchen, dining room, laundry room, play room, front yard (metal fence) and a small rear backyard (fenced). Per Licensee'ss, the children use the play room, half-kitchen (located in the rear), dining room, and bathroom. The child care area and Licensee'ss’s living area are divided by a door that has a lock on the top. Per Licensee'ss, areas off-limits to children and parents include: two bedrooms, one bathroom, and full-kitchen. Family members residing in the home are 2 adults (criminal record clearances on file). LPAs toured all areas used by children during this visit. The Licensee'ss provides food for children in care.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPAs observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the Licensee'sss, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee'ss has current First Aid and CPR, expires November 5, 2024.
