25 | On 04/21/26 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva conducted an unannounced annual required inspection at the above facility. Licensing staff met with Licensee Carolyn Reyna, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were no children present during the inspection. Licensee has 7 children enrolled ranging from ages 3 yrs old to 12 yrs old, they attend on a variable schedule. Hours of care Facility capacity is in compliance for a Large Family Child Care Home. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM.
This is a single-story home, that consist of four-bedrooms, three-bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, attached garage, basement, swimming pool, front yard, and back yard. Areas accessible to children and parents were inspected as follows: Living room, Dining area, Kitchen, one bathroom located in hallway, and side back yard. Areas off limits include: four-bedrooms, two bathrooms, front yard, and basement with: one-bedroom, one-bathroom, and den. The basement is rendered inaccessible to the daycare children by a baby gate which blocks the stairwell. There is one door which leads from the basement to the pool which has an alarm on it. LPA observed the alarm to be operable. Currently residing in the home are five adults and no minor children. Present during the inspection were mother in law and father in law.
LPA observed the following required posted documentation in the main entry way of the facility: Facility License, Publication (PUB) 394- Notification of Parent Rights and Licensing Form (LIC) 9148- Earthquake Preparedness form. LPA reviewed facility records for LIC 9040- Facility Roster, LIC 610- Facility Disaster Plan. LPA observed the last disaster drill was conducted on 01/06/2025.
