25 | On January 20, 2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Wai Lu who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 8 children in care. Per licensee there are 8 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 6:30PM.
This is a single-story house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, front and back yard. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Children use two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, and backyard. LPA observed napping equipment for children in care in mats, cribs and playpens. Per licensee there are no pets on the premises.
The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. LPA observed a functioning Smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide and working telephone. LPA observed fire extinguisher to be fully charged and serviced.
During the inspection LPA observed one infant located in the bedroom near the play area napping in a crib. While entering the bedroom, LPA observed licensee removed a stuffed animal from the crib. LPA also observed the infant to be in a sleep sack and covered with a blanket. LPA observed another infant in another bedroom napping in a crib with stuffed animals inside the crib and the infant placed in a sleep sack.
