13 | On 05/25/23, at 10:02 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annelise Villa and Licensing Program Manager, Mariela Ramon met with director for the purpose of concluding the investigation concerning the above allegations. Upon arrival, LPA and LPM observed 34 with 7 staff members providing care and supervision to children in care.
The investigation consisted of interviews conducted with children, staff and other relavent complaint parties. During interviews conducted it was revealed staff 1 spoke to child in a soft manner and explained to child the reason why a certain behavior was not appropriate. It was also disclosed child was enrolled on or about 01/25/21 and remained in care until 8/2022 when facility notified the child's guardian that the child's behavior was a concern for the child and other children in care. The facility had addressed the concerns with the child's guardian on multiple occassions both by phone and in person meetings. In person communication was held during pick up times as well as parent teacher conferences. Continued on Complaint Investigation Report LIC 9099-C.
