25 | On 01/08/26, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA Long was greeted by Licensee, Augustus Alando. LPA observed 2 Caregivers and 5 children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
The day care area: living room, dinning area, bathroom by the front entrance, and half the backyard as outdoor play area.
Off limit area: 3 bedrooms, 1 private bathroom in the master bedroom, kitchen, dining area, family room, garage and half the back yard.
Per Licensee, there are 2 adults (Co-Licensees) living in the home. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working land line and cellular telephones. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Fire place is securely screened. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 03/16/26. Licensee provides snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner to the children in care. Pool in the rear yard is surrounded by fences at least five feet high and does not obscure the pool from view. Gate swings away from the pool and self-closes. LPA observed life ring, body hook, pool alarm and daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas are fenced. Barricades between care areas and off limit areas were observed.
