25 | At 1:00 pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Licensee, Yiping Zheng, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Licensee is primarily Madarin speaking. Licensee’s daughter was also present and available to translate for LPA and Licensee when needed. Per Licensee, there are 10 children currently enrolled. There were eight children including 4 infants present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that two adults and one child currently live in the home. Per Licensee, her husband is her assistant in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, family room (activity room/napping room), front yard, backyard (fenced), and detached garage used as a playroom. Daycare areas include: living room, bathroom located next to family room, family room (activity / napping room), backyard (fenced), and detached garage. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: two bedrooms, bathroom (located in hallway), kitchen, front yard, drive way, and side yard.
Licensee guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster, and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist were observed to be posted in the entry way of the family room, where parents drop off the children in the morning. A current children’s roster was available for review.
