Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Required inspection at the above facility on 09/26/25 at 09:15am. The facility provides services to families in the military. According to the licensee, there are currently no military families enrolled at the facility. LPA met with Carina Perez licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 07 children present. Also present was the licensee’s assistant/daughter Diana Perez. Per licensee, 15 children are enrolled; however, upon review of the children’s roster, LPA observed 18 children are enrolled. Operation hours are Monday through Friday 06:00am – 06:00pm.
The purpose of the inspection is also for an increase in capacity. The licensee requested an increase in capacity from 8 to 14 on 07/18/25. Fire clearance was granted on 09/18/25.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, front yard, deck, backyard (fenced), laundry room, garage. Areas accessible to children include living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, deck, and back yard. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, front yard, laundry room, and garage. According to the licensee, there is 1 dog on the premises. Family members residing in the home are 1 adult and 0 minors. All individuals present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing, or volunteering in a licensed home and are identified on the attached LIC 811.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the living room where LPA observed furniture, age-appropriate toys, materials, and equipment for children.
