25 | On 03/04/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted. Upon arrival LPA Long was greeted by licensee, Kelly Lam. LPA observed 1 Caregiver and 1 child in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 9 AM to 8:00 PM.
This is a single story house containing a living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and attached garage.
The day care takes place in the living room, dining room, kitchen, 1 bedroom, hallway bathroom and rear yard.
Per Licensee, there are 2 adults living in the home (Licensee and boyfriend. All has criminal record clearance). The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working cellular telephones. Fireplace is blocked off being used as a shrine. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 10/15/25. Outdoor play areas are fenced.
LPA reviewed children files; files were found to be complete. LPA reviewed staff files; files were found to be complete. Children and staff names were documented on LIC811 (confidential page).
