32 | During an interview Staff#1 stated that the parent was informed of the incident verbally during pick up time. Staff#1 did not provide any information during the interview that supported the allegation. While it is required by regulation that a facility inform the parent of children in care of incidents that occur at the facility, verbally informing the parent and providing a written report the next day does not violate this requirement.
Although it is still possible that the facility did not inform the parent of child#1 of the incident in the allegation the same day verbally and in written form the next day, there is a lack of evidence to prove that this was the case.
Based on the evidence collected during the investigation, the allegations facility did not inform parent of an incident may be valid. However, there is not enough preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegations is found to be unsubstantiated.
The notice of site inspection must remain posted for a period of 30 days during hours of operation. Failure to maintain posting will result in a civil penalty of $100.00 dollars.
