Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Raul Navarro conducted an unannounced complaint inspection on 05/12/2023. LPA arrived at the facility at 12:24pm and met with Director Angelica Herrera. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings of the above allegations. There were 20 children with two staff present during today's inspections.

During the course of the investigation LPA Navarro toured the facility, conducted interviews with the complainant, director, staff, children in care, and parents. Interviews conducted with the staff, children, and parents were not consistent with the allegations made by the Complainant. Due to conflicting statements made by the Complainant and interviews conducted with staff, children, and parents, the allegations of staff do not prevent day care child from harming other day care children while in care, staff do not prevent day care child from engaging in inappropriate interactions with other day care children while in care, and child in care has access to a sharp object due to lack of staff supervision, are unsubstantiated.
