LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the den/main day care room where LPA observed cots, (1) play pen, age-appropriate toys, materials, and equipment for children. LPA also observed play pen is free from loose articles and objects. There are no objects hanging above or attached to the side of the play pen. Play pen does not hinder the entrance or exit to and from the space they are sleeping in. Mattresses were observed to be firm and covered with a fitted sheet that is appropriate to the mattress size. The children’s bathroom is located down the hallway from the entrance of the home behind the dining room. LPA observed that the children’s bathroom is in safe and in sanitary conditions. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are off limits to children; however, children walk through to access the den. There’s also a first aid kit readily available.
