25 | At 2:00 pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Roxana Lopez conducted an unannounced required 1 year inspection to the above facility. A risk assessment was conducted upon entry- appropriate PPE was used. LPA met with Jenny Peralta, Licensee who guided analysts on a tour of the facility. Per Licensee, day care is closed for the week. No day care children were present. Per Licensee, there are 11 children currently enrolled. A current children’s roster was available for review. Also present during the inspection was Licensee’s nephew and licensee's adult daughter was present during the inspection.
The licensee states that 4 adults currently live in the home. Per Licensee, they currently have 2 assistants. All adults present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in the licensed child care home. Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home.
This is a two-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use the bathroom in the day care room, day care room and backyard. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: upstairs which consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, living room (access just as walkway to enter and exit facility), Kitchen (just as walkway to exit to the back yard). LPA observed the second floor to be inaccessible by a locked door.
