25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 04/07/26 at 08:54 a.m. At 08:59 a.m., LPA met with Cristina Murillo licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 07 children present in the home. Also present were the licensee’s children. According to the licensee, 12 children are enrolled but due to spring break not all children enrolled need care. Operation hours are Monday – Saturday 06:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. and. LPA conducted the inspection in Spanish. At 10:02 a.m., 2 more children arrived.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, den, kitchen, front yard, back yard (fenced), and garage. According to the licensee, children use the living room, dining room, den (converted into an activity space), kitchen (to access the back/outdoor area), 1 bathroom, and backyard (partial). Family members residing in the home are 3 adults and 2 minors. According to the licensee, there are 3 dogs and 1 cat on the premises.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the living room where LPA observed furniture, 2 play pens, and 2 infants in a feeding chair (being fed). Tour continued to the dining room where LPA observed a dining room table with chairs, an empty feeding chair, and age-appropriate toys. The children’s bathroom is located down the hallway between the living room and dining room. LPA observed that the children’s bathroom is safe and in sanitary conditions. There are 2 bedrooms near the children’s bathroom that are off-limits and LPA observed both doors to be closed. According to the license, the kitchen is off-limits to children; however, children must walk through the kitchen to access the den and back yard.
