25 | At 8:35 am Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lilli Babcock and Jessica Hopkins-Hernandez conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPAs met with Licensee, Esther Gamboa, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 11 children currently enrolled. There were 4 children and 1 assistant present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 3 adults and 1 child currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there is 1 assistant working in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room/play room area, kitchen, attached garage/laundry room, front yard (fenced), and backyard with pool (fenced).
Per licensee, areas off-limits to children and parents include 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, backyard (fenced) with pool, and attached garage/laundry room. The children have access to dining room/play room, one bathroom, 1 bedroom and front yard(fenced).
Licensee guided analysts on a tour of the facility at 8:50 am. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster, and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist were observed to be posted in entry way of home. Per licensee, children are brought through the front of the home. A current children’s roster was available for review.
