25 | On 6/22/2023 at 12:30 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Carolyn Tuba conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure the Type B deficiency cited on 6/15/2023 during a complaint visit. A case management had been conducted and has been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Infant Director, Yolanda Vela and Preschool Director, Melissa Villareal who guided LPA and observed 10 children and 2 staff present at nap time, during this inspection.
Infant Director provided copies to the LPA the agenda, signatures of staff who attended meeting on 6/19/2023 and handouts provided during the meeting. LPA discussed with Directors, and they stated that they will continue to observe the staff by conducting random visits to the infant room throughout the day to observe staff interactions with children.
LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Yolanda Vela. LPA also issued POC clearance letter during the visit.
At this time, the facility is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted, appeal rights given, and a copy of the report was reviewed and given to acting Infant Director, Yolanda Vela.
