25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Crystal Green conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with Director, Elisha Gonzalez, who provided analyst a tour of the facility. The licensee also operates an infant program (198020404) on the same premises. Infant and Preschool licenses are conducted in physically separate areas both indoors and outdoors. There are no shared areas between the programs. The facility hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
This facility currenty has (7) classrooms: Dandelions, Geckos, Sage, Williows, Sunflower, Catcus, and the TK room. During this inspection, LPA observed 13 children napping with 2 staff in the Dandelions room, 14 children napping with 3 staff in the Geckos room, 21 children napping with 3 staff in the Sage room, 22 children with 2 staff in the TK room, there were 14 napping children with 7 staff in the Williow room, and there were 13 napping children with 3 staff in the Sunflower room. The Catcus room was observed to not be in use. All children were observed by LPA to be under visual supervision of a teacher at all times. The Licensee is within the conditions, limitations, and capacity specified on the license. The facility uses My Bright Day application for parents sign in and out.
The following were observed during this inspection: Licensing staff observed the facility to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. Furniture and equipment were inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. Drinking water is access to children via water filter water attached to the sinks located throughout the facility. The children also has their own personally sippy cups. At this time, the Director's Office is used as an isolation area. Parents are contacted immediately when children are determined to be ill and staff are ensuring that children with obvious symptoms of illness are not being accepted. |
