25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 01/23/26 at 01:15 pm. LPA met with Sandy Fuentes facility representative who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. According to the facility representative, the licensee was not present. Licensee arrived at 01:25pm and assisted LPA with the rest of the inspection. Per licensee, 14 children are enrolled; however, physically present were 10 children (4 infants and 6 preschoolers) with (1) adult. Licensee stated that children enrolled are not always present due to having different schedules. Operation hours are Monday – Friday 06:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m.
Licensee has an individual emergency waiver. Due to the facility being out of ratio an office meeting will be held to address the current waiver and deficiencies.
This is a two-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room (main day care room), garage, front yard (unfenced), side and back yard (fenced). Areas accessible to children include the living room, kitchen, family room, 1 bedroom (first floor) and 1 bathroom (first floor). Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include the entire second floor 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, front yard, side yard, back yard, and garage. Family members residing in the home are 2 adults and 0 minors. According to the licensee, there are no pets on the premises.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the kitchen where LPA observed (1) infant napping in an ingenuity keep cozy 3-1 grow with me baby bouncer, rocker, & toddler seat. LPA asked the facility representative if the infant was napping as well as the age of the infant. Per facility representative the child was under 2 years old.
