25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 01/26/26 at 01:20 pm. LPA knocked on the door and waited for a response; however, no one opened the door. LPA then attempted to contact licensee to the number on file, but call went to voicemail. LPA left a voicemail and left the premises at 01:25 p.m. Licensee returned LPAs call and stated she was home. LPA returned to the facility at 01:35 p.m. and met with Cynthia Flores licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 2 children napping (1) in the living room on a cot and (1) in the dining room in a play pen. According to the licensee, 09 children are enrolled, and are not in the facility at the same time since their schedule varies. Operation hours are Monday – Friday 06:30 a.m. – 05:40 p.m.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room (nap only), kitchen, laundry room, front yard, backyard (fenced), and garage. Areas accessible to children include the living room, 1 bathroom, and back yard (fenced) for play. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, front yard, and garage. Family members residing in the home are 3 adults and 1 minor. According to the licensee, there is (1) cat and chickens on the premises and off-limits to children.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the children’s bathroom which is located in the entrance of the home. The children’s bathroom was observed to be safe and in sanitary conditions. LPA then continued the tour into the living room where LPA observed age-appropriate toys, equipment, and materials for children.
