Per director, staff-to-child ratios are consistently maintained and are a priority at the facility. Director explained that each classroom is typically staffed with two teachers and that ratios are monitored closely throughout the day, with adjustments made as needed during transitions, breaks, or staff absences. The Director reported that she actively monitors ratios by making regular classroom rounds, assisting in classrooms when necessary, and coordinating staff coverage by combining classrooms or calling additional staff if needed.
LPA reviewed staff timecards and children’s sign-in and out sheets from 12/2026 – 03/2026, and based on LPA's review, the facility was operating within the required teacher-child ratio on these dates. RP did not provide a specific timeframe.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging that staff spoke to day care child in an inappropriate manner, staff left day care child soiled for an extended period of time, and staff does not ensure facility operates in ratio. Staff interviews, parent interviews, child interviews, and record review did not provide evidence to support the allegations that staff spoke to a day care child in an inappropriate manner, that a child was left in soiled clothing/diaper for an extended period of time, or that the facility failed to maintain required staff-to-child ratios.
Based upon the evidence as presented above, the allegations has been determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
