32 | LPA conducted interviews with Staff # 1-4. Staff # 1, 3 and 4 corroborated that when enrolled children have to be potty trained as they do not change diapers in the facility, however they do have children that come in pull ups but parents change them into underwear before leaving them in the facility. Staff # 2 disclosed changing pull up's if needed. Per staff # 1-4 there is no diaper policy or log because as a requirement children have to be potty trained before attending.
LPA conducted interviews with parents. Parent’s statements corroborate that they do not have any concerns with the care that their children receives and that their child is happy in the facility. Parent # 4 stated that it was their understanding that children had to be potty trained before enrolled.
LPA conducted interview with Child # 1- who disclosed that they do not use diapers in the facility.
LPA Lopez did observed a diapering policy posted in the bathroom- but did not observed a diapering policy in the handbook or in children's files.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging Child developed a diaper rash due to the facility not meeting the child’s needs. Based upon the evidence as presented above, the allegation has been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
