25 | At 12:30 pm Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lilli Babcock and Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPAs met with Licensee, Frances Gil-Cervantes, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 11 children currently enrolled. There were 11 children present upon arrival. One of the children is the licensee’s son and two children are her granddaughters that are under the age of 10. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 4 adults and 3 children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there are 2 assistants in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, family room, daycare room, kitchen, dining room, detached garage, front yard, and backyard which is fenced.
Per licensee, areas off-limits to children and parents include 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, detached garage, living room, kitchen, dining room, side yards, and front yard. The children have access to family room, daycare room, bathroom located next to the laundry room, and backyard which is fenced.
Licensee guided analysts on a tour of the facility. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
