32 | Lunch and snack menus were observed in each classroom. This facility serves AM snack, Lunch, and PM snack. All snacks and lunches are delivered to this facility everyday from the Temple city School District. There is no food preparation done at this facility per Director.
The Director was advised that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Staff and Children files were reviewed during this inspection. CPR for the Director was observed to valid until 08/2026.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. The notice of site inspection must remain posted for a period of 30 days during hours of operation. Failure to maintain posting during business hours will result in a civil penalty of $100,00 dollars.
