32 | Per licensee, she will consult her teachers on how to store nap bedding moving forward. Per director, linens are washed weekly by parents. Storage for children's belongings were inspected. Age-appropriate toys and materials were available in each classroom for children.
All toilets and washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. First Aid supplies are available and complete. Drinking water is available through water jugs filled from the filtered fountain in the kitchen. Lead testing was last done 5/9/2023. The front lobby side room is used as a sick area for an ill child to rest. An ill child would use the hallway restroom and staff would disinfect as needed.
Licensing staff observed all required forms/publications to be posted on the parent board in the lobby. Per licensee, facility serves breakfast, lunch, am and pm snacks. LPA inspected kitchen, meal prep area, and dry foods storage for proper storage and cleanliness. Fridge has internal digital thermometer and all foods are stored properly. All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins shall have tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. Trash cans used to discard food have tight fitting lids. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects, and rodents.
Toddlers are using cots for nap. Diaper changing table was inspected and observed to be within an arms reach of a sink with proper padding. Proper disinfecting was observed. There is at least one sink for every 15 children and 1 working toilet. LPA observed a rinsed bottle on the diapering sink. Per teacher, it was placed there from parent sending it with their child and they forgot to grab it. LPA advised to not rinse any food prep dishes or bottles at diapering sink and to place bottle on other counter while parent picks it up.
Licensing staff observed the required 2A10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully charged and was serviced on 09/8/2025 on service tag. Per State Fire Marshall standards, fire extinguishers shall be serviced annually. Facility has functioning smoke and carbon monoxide alarms that were tested. Director stated there are no weapons, firearms, or bodies of water on the premises. The last Disaster drill was conducted in 1/21/26.
Licensing staff observed the outdoor play area. The playgrounds equipment was inspected for safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. All areas around or under high climbing equipment, swings, slides, and similar equipment are cushioned with material that absorbs a fall. There is a tall wooden play structure with slide and tire swing that is bolted and secured in place. There are play houses and other age appropriate materials for children to use while outdoors. There is adequate shade in the play yard. Drinking water is readily available outdoors through water bottles. Page 2 of 4
