25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 12/16/25 at 01:28 pm. At 01:33 pm LPA met with Maria Gomez licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Also present was the co-licensee Jose Cruz and 01 child. According to the licensee, there are 05 children are enrolled. Operation hours are Monday through Sunday 04:00am – 10:00pm. LPA conducted the inspection in Spanish.
This is a one-story home which consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, detached garage, and fenced in rear yard. Areas accessible to children include living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom #2 (napping room) and #3 (isolation area), bathroom #1 and #2. According to the licensee, there are 4 dogs on the premises. Family members residing in the home are 2 adults and 0 minors.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in living room/dining room where LPA observed age-appropriate toys, equipment, and materials for children. Down the hallway are 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. LPA toured bedroom #2 where LPA observed (3) cribs and materials for children. LPA then toured the bathroom used by children which is located across from the dining room. Per licensee, children use the bathroom behind bedroom #2. LPA observed that the children’s bathroom is in safe and in sanitary conditions. There’s also a first aid kit readily available.
At 01:50 pm smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were observed to be operable. The valve on the required 2A10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully and was purchased on 11/24/24, per the attached receipt. Per State Fire Marshall standards, fire extinguishers shall be serviced annually.
