25 | On March 5, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Ana Herrera, also present in the home was licensee's adult daughter, adult son and husband who are fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. LPA observed 7 children in care. Per licensee there are 11 children enrolled. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday 5AM to 4AM. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
This is a single-story house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, detached garage that remains locked at all times, laundry area with chemicals and cleaning compounds inaccessible to children in care, living room, kitchen and completely fenced rear yard.
The day care takes place in living room, bedroom #1, hallway bathroom, bathroom located in the outside play area and fenced in yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms/weapons on the premises, LPAs did not observe any firearms/weapons. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR.
