25 | On 10/16/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by licensee, Seojin Nahm. LPA observed 2 Caregiver and 11 children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
This is a single-story house which contains a living room, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a detached garage.
The day care takes place in the living room, dining area, bathroom and front and rear yard.
Per Licensee, there are 2 adults living in the home (Licensee and husband. All has criminal record clearance). 2 small size pet dogs which are in the bedroom during operating hours. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher and working land line. Fireplace is blocked with a shelf. There are several age-appropriate toys on the premises. Cots for children nap were observed. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 04/13/26. Outdoor play areas are fenced. Barriers preventing children from entering non day care areas were observed. Last drill documented and conducted on 09/23/24.
