25 | At 9:20 a.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced Case Management – Licensee Initiated visit to the above facility for the purpose of evaluating the Licensee’s request for a capacity increase from 8 to 14. Fire clearance for a capacity of 14 was granted on 8/20/24. LPA met with Licensee, Hsingyi Yeh, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 6 children currently enrolled. There were no children or additional adults present during the visit. Licensee states that they pick up children from the school located near the home. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 1 adult and no children currently live in the home. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home consisting of 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, detached garage, front yard and back yard.
The children currently have access to 2 bedrooms, living room, 1 bathroom located in bedroom #1, and back yard.
Based on the Facility Sketch submitted, areas off limits to children and parents are: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, detached garage. All areas inaccessible for children were observed to have a lock and or a security gate making them inaccessible for children in care.
