25 | On 03/28/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted. Upon arrival, LPA Long was greeted by licensee, Claudia Rodriguez. LPA observed 1 Caregiver and 6 children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
This is a single-story house which contains a living room, kitchen, dining area, attached garage, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom.
The day care takes place in the living room, hallway bathroom and rear yard.
Per Licensee, there are 3 adults living in the home (Licensees, husband and friend. All has criminal record clearance). The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and cellular telephones. Fireplace is securely blocked with a book shelf. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 04/29/25. Outdoor play areas are fenced. Breakfast, snacks, lunch. is served. Last drill documented and conducted on 01/22/25. Barricades between day care areas and off limit areas were observed. Sleeping equipment such as mats and play yard is available.
