| The home is observed to be clean and orderly. There are first aid supplies available. There are age-appropriate toys available for children. Appropriate sleeping arrangements in form of a crib for infants in care and nap mats were observed.
Per licensee, breakfast, lunch, PM snack and dinner is provided by licensee. Licensee stated that she works with a food program called Options. Licensee Anna and Donny were advised that food brought from the children’s homes, all containers must be labeled with child’s name and properly stored or refrigerated.
LPA toured the outdoor play area and inspected its safety and condition. LPA observed perimeter fencing which is free of miscellaneous debris/hazards. All trees, shrubs and plants are maintained. Outdoor play yard was observed to have toys for the children to play.
Children’s records were reviewed, including emergency information, and were observed to be complete.
Licensee records were reviewed. The licensee has proof of Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR. The licensee, Anna Pediatric First Aid and CPR from Red Cross expires on 6/7/27. The licensee, Donny Pediatric First Aid and CPR from Red Cross expires on 12/3/23.
LPA observed that the Licensee Anna and Donny does have proof of immunization record and the Mandated Reporter AB 1207 compliant Child Care Training Certificate on file. Anna Mandated Reporter Training expires 9/12/15 and Donny expires4/15/26.
LPA observed that the Licensee Anna and Donny have proof od preventative Health and Safety Certification. Anna’s certificate is dated 6/25/23 and Donny certificate is dated 1/18/24.
LPA observed Community Care Licensing Orientation on file for both Licensee’s Anna and Donny.
Smoking is prohibited in a licensed Family Childcare Home. Per Licensee, no one smokes in the home.
LPA did not observe the following items during the inspection: Infant Walkers, Johnny Jumpers, trampolines, Saucer Chairs, and/or any other item that fall into these categories are not permitted in a family childcare facility.
