25 | On 08/15/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an announced Prelicensing Inspection. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. LPA met with the applicant Chen Zuo who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a two story home with: First floor contains a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom an an attached garage. Second floor contains 5 bedrooms and 3 restrooms.
Main care is provided in the living room, first floor restroom and rear yard.
Off limit areas are the dining room, kitchen and entire second floor. (There is a round water fountain located in the front yard approximately 2 1/2 feet in diameter containing water approximately 4 inches deep. Per applicant, children will not have access to the front yard.)
Currently residing in the home is the applicant, applicant's husband and 2 minor children. Applicant is Mandarin speaking. Per applicant there are no pets, no weapons or firearms on the premise. The home is clean and well ventilated. There are age appropriate toys (blocks, dramatic play area, slides, kitchen set). Age appropriate napping equipment (cots, crib and playpens). Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detectors are operable. The required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) is fully charged. Home has central AC and heat. Applicant's CPR/First Aid training expires on 06/2026. There are barricades between the kitchen and the living and the living and the stair case. Children will sleep on the cots, crib and playpens. Snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided. Parents/Guardians will drop off and pick up children through the front entrance. Per Licensee, Mandarin will be the primary language used during child care. The home contains a mobile phone. Cleaning compounds and knives are locked and inaccessible to children. Outdoor play area is fenced. Fire place is securely screened.
