25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nolan Tcheng conducted a pre-licensing inspection today. Upon arrival at 8am, LPA met with Applicants Alan Tse & Nuoyi Huang, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Persons residing in the home are 2 adults and 0 minors. This is a change of location inspection. The applicant is requesting a large family child care home license. Per applicant operation hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Applicant states they will care for children 1-6yrs years old.
Licensee was previously licensed with facility number 198021337 at 815 Coronado Dr. Arcadia, CA 91007
All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. This is a one-story house. The home consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining area (classroom), laundry room, kitchen, detached garage, front yard, and backyard. There is a fireplace in the living room which has been blocked off to prevent access to children.
Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room, bathroom, dining area (classroom), and backyard.
Areas off limits based on facility sketch submitted to children and parents include: two bedrooms, kitchen, detached garage, and front yard.

At 8:15am, LPA began tour of the home. Upon entry into the home, the living room was reviewed. There were age appropriate toys and equipment present. LPA observed a fireplace to be made inaccessible to children in care. Sleeping equipment was observed in the living room closet. Cots are being provided for children to nap. First aid supplies were present and accessible.
At 8:25am, LPA observed a 2A10BC fire extinguisher in the home. The service tag showed it was serviced on 05/15/2024. It was anchored to the wall of the living room.
