LPA conducted interviews with staff # 1- 5. Staff corroborated that they have never been out of ratio or have observed any other staff being out of ratio. Per Staff # 5 they open the infant room at 630 am and they make sure that when they have the 4th infant present they have another teacher present to avoid any out of ratio situations. Staff # 4 opens the preschool class room at 630 AM and there is always another staff present before they even reach the 12 preschool child. LPA Reyes did observe the facility to be in ratio and reviewed sign in and out sheets for the month of October and November between the hours of 6:30 and 8:30 am and 8:30 and 9:30 AM. Administrator Viviann also will cover the teacher child ratio when needed and lives close enough to be at this facility with in minutes in case of any emergency's.
LPA was unable to get further information from the reporting party as of this date.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging Staff did not maintain proper teacher- child ratios . Based upon the evidence as presented above, the allegation has been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the allegation is unsubstantiated.
