25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 12/04/25 at 09:00 am. At 09:11am LPA met with Maria Angelica Vizcaino licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 05 children in care. According to the licensee, 12 children are enrolled. Operation hours are Monday through Friday 06:00am – 07:30pm. LPA conducted the inspection in Spanish.
This is a one-story home which consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, front yard (fenced), side yard (fenced), back yard/house (fenced). Areas accessible to children include living room, dining room, 1 bathroom, and front yard (fenced). Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents includes 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and back yard/house (fenced). According to the licensee, there are no pets on the premises. Family members residing in the home are 3 adults and 2 minors.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the living room where LPA observed living room furniture, (1) changing table, age-appropriate toys, equipment and materials for children. LPA then toured the dining room where LPA observed a dining room table with chairs, (2) cribs and (2) play pens. LPA inquired about (1) crib in the corner near the kitchen entrance. According to the licensee, the crib was recommended through the provider social media. Licensee took a picture of the crib to obtain product information to show LPA what type of equipment it is. LPA observed several different identifiers such as a “cuna mecedora” rocking crib in English, rocking cradle, or bassinet. Upon further review of the Safe Sleep Frequently Asked Questions it was determined that the crib observed during the inspection does not meet Title 22 regulations.
