25 | On 2/3/26, at 10AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee / Armenuhi Armenakyan, who assisted with the visit. LPA disclosed the purpose of the visit. Entrance Checklist – Family Child Care Homes was provided to the Licensee. The licensee has requested a capacity increase for a Large Family Child Care Home for a total capacity of 14 children, ages 0 months to 13 years, which is currently pending. Fire Clearance for Large Family Child Care Home was granted on 1/9/26. The Licensee guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Adults residing in or present in the home were discussed, and all have criminal record clearances. Also present were, Licensee’s Assistant / Sona Nikoghosyan and Daughter / Mariam Armenakyan. Five children were present during today's inspection. Licensee states that there are currently five children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Per licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 7AM - 6PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection and the last disaster drill was conducted on 1/1/26.
This is a single story home which consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, two side yards, a front yard and a back yard. In addition to the Licensee's home, the property includes a separate dwelling unit, with its own address and private entrance. The separate unit is located in front of the Licensee's home and functions as an independent living space. The address is 320 Vine St, Glendale, CA 91204. According to the Licensee, parents drop off and pick up their children at the entrance gate, which leads to the walkway to the home. Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room, bedrooms 1 and 2, bathroom 2, kitchen, and front yard. The home does not have a fireplace. Per Licensee, the following areas are off-limits: Bathroom 1, two side yards, back yard and the separate dwelling unit located in front of the Licensee's home. All off-limits rooms and areas are made inaccessible through the use of childproof door knobs/locks and child safety gates. The washer/dryer are located in the hallway, near bedroom 2.
