On July 17, 2024 at 9:40 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) A. Wallin arrived at the above licensed facility for the purpose of an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA met with licensee, Maria Manzo and advised the of purpose of the visit. During inspection, LPA observed 5 children and 3 staff present. LPA observed proper care and supervision and ratio. All adults present in the home have criminal record clearance at time of inspection. During inspection, LPA conducted additional interview with licensee. Throughout inspection, LPA conducted interviews with five out of 11 children and three staff. Note: (child #2,#3,#4, #10, #11, #12 were not qualified to complete an interview). LPA received no corroborated disclosures that they witnessed the allegations or corroboration that they experienced the allegations.
This Agency has investigated the above complaint and found that although the allegations may have happened or are valid; based on observations, interviews, and documents obtained there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore at this time the allegations are deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. The facility was found in compliance per Title 22 regulations, there will be no deficiencies cited today, 07/17/24. No deficiency was cited at this time for this complaint. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Maria Manzo.
