25 | On 6/11/21 at 1:15pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alicia Mooberry conducted a Required Annual Inspection for the above facility. Elizabeth Sanchez, Licensee, provided a tour of the home. All areas on the facility sketch were inspected to ensure the health & safety standards as required by regulations governing family child care homes are met. There were 6 children present during this inspection, (including 1 infant). Also present was Juana Sanchez, licensee's mother/assistant. All adults present during today's inspection have received background clearance.
This is a single-story home which consists of three bedrooms, two restrooms, kitchen, living room, front yard and backyard (both fenced) and detached 2-car garage. The home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children.
All required licensing forms were observed visibly posted on board by living room.
Areas used by children include: Bedroom #1 and bedroom #2 located in the front of the home next to the living room, bathroom (located in the hallway next to the front bedrooms), living room, kitchen, dining room and front yard with porch.
Areas off limits include: Master bedroom and bathroom, detached garage, backyard and driveway. Master bedroom door was observed locked with key.
The home is clean and orderly and has central heating and air conditioning. The kitchen has cabinets secured with safety locks and magnetic locks ensuring detergents, cleaning products and other items which can pose a danger to children are inaccessible. LPA observed a wine refrigerator locked with safety locks making items that can pose a danger to children inaccessible.
LPA observed COVID-19 postings at entrance of home along with hand sanitizer, gloves and masks.
