On 02/07/25 at 10:00 AM an informal meeting was held via Microsoft Teams to discuss recent deficiencies cited. Present at this meeting was Licensee Jasmine McDaniel, Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Denise Gibbs, and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ashley Calderon.

During this meeting the following was discussed:
  • Uncleared adults at the facility.
  • License Capacity- over License capacity limit and over the capacity of infants allowed.
  • Operation of a Family Child Care Home-reminded Licensee when operating a day care; Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day.
  • Guardian- website used to associate, dissociate and check on fingerprint status for adults present at the facility.
  • LPM Gibbs explained the process/action the Department can conduct if the Licensee continues to have repeated violations.
  • Licensee McDaniel stated their interest in wanting to open a Child Care Center. LPM recommended to take the Child Care Center Orientation.

During meeting the following resources were provided:
  • www.MyChildCarePlan.org - is a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. (Continuation, 809-C..)

LPA's provided the following recommendation:
  • Technical Support Program (TSP) – free consultation from an analyst to assist facilities to stay in compliance. Licensee can confirm to Opt in to program by contacting LPA Calderon.

Licensee will:
  • Submit by Monday February 10, 2025 via email to LPA Calderon a schedule indicating time and days of the 25 enrolled children when present at the facility.

A notice of site visit was given to given to be posted for 30 days.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Jasmine McDaniel on 2/19/23 at the facility.
