25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted an unannounced required one year inspection to the above facility on 01/26/23. LPA began the inspection at 2:05PM. Co-licensee, Maria Alarcon, guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present during this inspection was co-licensee, Veronica Alarcon. Per Licensee, there are 10 children that are currently enrolled. There were 7 children present upon arrival.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining room, living room, den garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The off limit areas include 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, garage and front yard.
The main care area is located in the den. LPA observed a wall mounted television, a wall mounted heater/air conditioning unit, age appropriate toys, children's art material, children's reading material, sleeping cots and a play pen. LPA observed the living room to have a wall mounted television, two couches, child sized table, child sized chairs and a window mounted air conditioning unit. The dining area was observed with a dining table and chairs. The entrance to the off-limits kitchen was observed to have a baby gate. Locks were observed on the cabinet beneath the kitchen sink. LPA observed cleaning supplies kept beneath the kitchen sink. Per licensee, she provides food for children in care. Licensee understands that food brought from a child's home must have the child's name labeled on the container and be properly stored. The bathroom was observed to be clean with an operable sink, faucet and toilet. Locks were observed beneath the kitchen sink and on the bathtub door. The outdoor play area was observed to have perimeter fencing. Additional toys and outdoor play equipment were observed in the outdoor play area. Plants in the backyard were observed to have a gate in front making them inaccessible. Per licensee, a tarp is used for shade, however it has been temporarily removed due to the recent rain storms. Per licensee, isolation area for children showing signs of illness will be located in the living where the child will await parent pick up. LPA did not observe the following items during the inspection: Infant Walkers, Johnny Jumpers, Saucer Chairs. No bodies of water were
