25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susann Sanchez conducted a prelicensing inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Kimberly Britt, applicant who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Before entering the home, LPA asked applicant if anyone has COVID19, or has any symptoms, which applicant stated everything is all cleared. Per applicant hours of operation will be 6:00am to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Tour began at 8:50am. This is a two-story home which consists of 1 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room (FIREPLACE: LPA observed the fire place to be gated), family room, office room, learning room, nap room, garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use the bathroom attached to the learning room. Per applicant, areas off limits to children and parents include: bedroom, living room, kitchen, family room, office room, garage, 2 bathroom, half the backyard and front yard. The back yard is split into two sections and the children will use the section on the left side of the home. The applicant provide food for children in care unless they have allergic reactions.
The licensee states that 2 adults currently live in the home. Applicant states that she currently has one assistant, but assistant will not be able to work until they are fully cleared for fingerprints. All individuals present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed home. Per applicant, there are no weapons or firearms premises. In the off- limit section of the backyard, LPA observed an above ground jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi was gated. The jacuzzi has a lid/cover that is strong enough for an adult to walk on.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that children use, were inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, ventilation and heating (central). The following was observed and reviewed during this inspection.
