13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) R. Derraco conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above mentioned facility on 08/29/24. LPA conducted the inspection at 10:00 AM and was met by Director, Claudia Ceballos, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 56 children in care and 10 adults caring for children. The center's physical plant was observed to be in complaince with Title 22 California Code or Regulations.
The purpose of this visit is to deliver complaint findings to the above mentioned allegations. During the investigation LPAs conducted interviews, reviewed records, and made observations. Individuals interviewed state that they have not heard staff members have inappropriate conversations in front of children. Individuals interviewed also state that staff members do not say anything to them that make them scared or feel bad. No concerns were addressed on how staff treat children in care. Individuals interviewed state that parent consent is requested by the center prior to enrollment to allow pictures and videos be used of chldren in care. LPAs observed consent forms signed by parents in children's personnel files. |
