25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dayna Chambers conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on 02/28/2025. LPA arrived at the facility at 9:40AM, identified self, and met with Keylee Campos and Nancy Torres, Assistants who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Licensees Alma and Aroldo Campos arrived within 10 minutes. LPA provided Licensee with a copy of the LIC 126 Entrance Checklist to help facilitate the inspection. Per Licensee, they currently have 2 assistants. LPA observed 6 children upon arrival. There are 10 children that are currently enrolled. A current LIC9040 children’s roster was available for review. Per Licensee, operation hours are 6:00am TO 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Individuals who reside in the home were noted and discussed. This is a 2-story home: The upstairs is one bedroom and downstairs consist of 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, backyard (fenced), and front yard. There is no garage with the home. The stairs are in the living room and stairs were observed to be barricaded for the children under the age of 5. Children use the following: The first floor: The living room for activities, Bedroom #1 located in the living room used for napping, the children’s restroom is located in bedroom #1. The restroom that children use was observed to be safe and sanitary. The backyard is used in the summertime. There is an apartment building with another address located in the backyard. The front of the apartment building is around the block from the home. There is no fence in between the apartment building and the licensee’s backyard. The outdoor play area was observed to be fenced around the perimeter. LPA observed that the outdoor yard has toys and other materials for children to play with. LPA did not observe any objects that can pose a danger to children on the outdoor yard. The licensee states that supervision is always provided. LPA did not observe any infant walkers, baby bouncers, inclined chairs, baby saucers, or any similar items at the facility. Safe toys play equipment and materials were observed. All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Off Limit Areas: Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: The upstairs that includes one bedroom, and downstairs: bedroom #2 downstairs, and 2 bathrooms. Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home. There are no pets on the premises. LPA did not observe any pools, spas, hot tubs, fishponds, or similar bodies of water during the |
